Lavender for Psychic Dreams & Purifying

It draws in a powerful magic of peace, tranquillity and harmony just from its aroma. When inhaled long enough, this wonderful aroma starts to relax the mind from racing thoughts and can start to induce drowsiness. Assuming you have left a bundle of lavender within your room, this magically induced sleep will bring about lucid dreams. This is why it is important to keep a dream journal by your place of rest so you can record your dreams as soon as you wake.

There are many types of lavender but my favourite is White Lavender. This lavender is strong but not headache inducing, works well for cleansing a space and for working with the Fae. While working with large amounts of this herb, I found that it made dreams so lucid and vivid that any form of dream work should always include white lavender.

Other Uses for Lavender

The aroma of Lavender can ease anxieties, racing thoughts and aid in inducing sleep. However, if you suffer from chemical intolerance the aroma from lavender can give you a headache. Since there are many types of Lavender, I have found that White lavender in particular will not give me a headache compared to the purple type. So if you’re looking for a simple calming potion, add a small amount of lavender and chamomile flowers to a pot of tea and enjoy!

If you’re not a fan of drinking lavender tea, you can use the water infusion to apply to burns to calm them down. And by burns, I do mean sun burns. Just pop the infusion into the fridge for a further cooling affect.

Lavender when added to honey creates a wonderful tasting and soothing infusion that is great for soothing sore throats.
